Upload your APK file to Devpost

Teams will submit a two-part video that includes the app pitch, demo, and group reflection. The video should be no longer than 6 minutes. The video should be uploaded to a site such a YouTube or Vimeo, where a link can be created and added to the group submission form. All competition materials are due by March 17, 2024, at 11:59 pm* Student groups that miss the deadline will not be entered in the final round of judging.

*Please note that the Devpost site says the submission period ends on March 18, 2024 at 12:15 am. Please notice that this time says AM, and it is simply to allow a 15-minute grace period for project submissions, as many people run into issues submitting their projects at the last minute. Projects are still due the night of Sunday, March 17th, and you should try submitting earlier in the day to avoid any issues that tend to arise when waiting until the last minute.

All teams in phase 2 will be assigned a Ready, Set, App! Student Mentor. Student groups will be appointed an RSA intern who will assist in the app development process. Student groups will coordinate times to conduct virtual check-ins using the Microsoft Teams platform with the designated intern that will last ~30 minutes. These check-ins are required to meet the guidelines of the competition. In the case that a group misses three check-ins with no communication at least 12 hours prior to cancellation, they will no longer be able to compete in RSA. Teams will also be given project workbooks. The project workbooks will be accessible via google docs and will assist in the app development process. The workbooks will be utilized during check-ins with their designated mentor and the completion of the Phase 2: Part 1 workbook is a requirement for your submission. You must provide a link to your completed Phase 2: Part 1 Project Workbook in your submission for your project to be considered complete.

Phase 3 - Finalist Round

After the Phase 2 submission deadline, we will select eight finalist groups to present at the Final Pitch Competition.

The finalists will be required to present their mobile app in front of a live audience and a group of judges who will select the top 3 winners.

This event is on Friday, April 26, 2024.
